Property types

There are many popular locations to purchase property in Argentina and there are many different property types as well. The final choice may be one of necessity or one of emotion. If you are purchasing a property to live, of course the decision will be one of emotion. Deciding which city or town to live will be personal also. While some people want the bright lights of the big city others will seek the quaint charm of a small town and slower pace of life. Prices for these different choices will vary with the big city often higher in price than the small town.

Large metropolitan areas offer modern apartments and condominium high rise buildings; on the outskirts of these cities look for new home developments. Both have all the convenient amenities including internet service and cable. In the smaller towns or the older areas of the large cities it's easy to find small and charming homes with European flair. Along the coast you'll find seaside villas, high rise condos, new home developments and beach bungalows. Older homes may not have some of the more modern conveniences but they all usually have the basics, including water, electricity and phone, the rest can be implemented.
