Brazil’s Economy Affected Little By American Recession

In the recent past Brazil was greatly affected by any and all American financial fluctuation. When America’s financial health encountered a sneeze, Brazil came down with Pneumonia. This may no longer be the case as Brazil’s vast and recent economic diversification has taken Brazil from a financially dependent country to one of strength and independence.

Brazil may very well owe its new found financial freedom to President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and his administration. Da Silva took office in Brazil in 2003 and immediately started working on the economy. His main goal for Brazil was simple…fiscal responsibility. Previously Brazil was the victim of a volitale currency, damaging short term investing and an unhealthy dependance on the global economy. Today, Brazil’s strong economic diversification has been tested and is showing true signs of a stable and self reliant economy.

With Brazil’s new found stable investing environment, the flood gates have opened and everyone from 30 something professionals seeking new investment opportunities to baby boomers seeking a slow paced and economically advantageous retirement option, are flocking to Brazil with real estate in mind. While many larger metropolitan areas are enjoying strong equity gains as developers are offering new business and residential projects, there are also many emerging areas of Brazil. These up and coming real estate hot spots are attracting retiress and speculators hoping to catch the new wave of investment opportunity.

It’s apparent that Brazil has broken free from its financial shackles and has achieved fiscal freedom. For investors hoping to hop on the latest real estate bandwagon Brazil may be the place. So, if you just hate it when a good investment opportunity passes you by you better take the next flight to Brazil and have a look for yourself at the opportunity Brazil can offer to the smart and savvy real estate investor.
