Since crossing the border at Tijuana can be time consuming, the American government has implemented a Sentri Pass, which allows Americans to go in and out of both countries without stopping at the border. These rapid access passes require a background check, and a per person fee. The convenience they offer is well worth the money, and this pass allows Americans to live in the home of their dreams, at about half what they would pay in San Diego, and take advantage of the low cost of living in Mexico. For these reason and others, Tijuana real estate is becoming more and more popular.
